About

Daughters of Tomorrow is a group mentoring style program that began in August  2018 at Cedar Bluff Middle School.  Daughters of Tomorrow was created to help decrease and alleviate the negative behaviors and incidents that were occurring among middle school girls.

Daughters of Tomorrow provides weekly groups that utilize Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior techniques in a school environment. Each week, Daughters of Tomorrow also provides breakfast for each participant of the program while discussing various topics, including self-esteem, conflict resolution, career exploration, and other topics of interest, which create well-rounded young ladies.

This amazing outreach program started with approximately twelve girls each week. In the school year 2022-2023, we added two groups at a local elementary school and continued at Cedar Bluff Middle School. At that time, Daughters of Tomorrow currently served approximately ninety girls weekly in a support group format.  There is currently one group in the middle school, where approximately 45 -50 girls are served weekly.
